Eucharist

The Sacrament of the Eucharist lies at the very heart of the Church’s life and mission. Every time the Eucharist is celebrated, the Church is fully present, fully alive. The community of Holy Cross and St. Stanislaus Parish finds its very life and mission from our Eucharistic worship.

Eucharistic Adoration

“During this year (Year of the Eucharist: Oct, 2004 – Oct, 2005) Eucharistic adoration outside Mass should become a particular commitment for individual parish and religious communities. Let us take the time to kneel before Jesus present in the Eucharist, in order to make reparation by our faith and love for the acts of carelessness and neglect, and even the insults which our Savior must endure in many parts of the world. Let us deepen through adoration our personal and communal contemplation, drawing upon aids to prayer inspired by the word of God and the experience of so many mystics, old and new” (Mane Nobiscum Domine, 17).

As a parish community, we have decided to continue the legacy of the Year of the Eucharist. We will continue our practice of Eucharistic Adoration indefinitely. Please join us!

Adoration before the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist takes place every Saturday beginning with exposition at 9:00 A.M. and concluding with benediction at 10:00 A.M.

  Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, heal me.
Blood of Christ, drench me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
Good Jesus, hear me.
In your wounds shelter me.
From turning away, keep me.
From the evil one, protect me.
At the hour of my death call me
Into your presence, lead me, to praise you with all your saints forever and ever.
Amen.
